About The Role

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers (Field) to join the maintenance crew at Pembroke Resource’s new autonomous mine in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex. 

As a Boilermaker, reporting through to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, working a 7/7 day shift only roster, you will be required to maintain plant safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules together with:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mining equipment, including draglines, shovels, and haul trucks
  • Structural repair, fabrication, and installation of dragline booms and related components
  • Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation
  • Complete accurate Job Planning Sheets
  • Set and maintaining high housekeeping standards
  • Work within a team environment to meet deadlines

About you

As a successful applicant, you’ll be a high-achieving safety-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail coupled with your commitment to delivering high quality work will also ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Proficient in performing all welding, gouging, cutting or other duties with dragline boom experience (highly regarded)
  • Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
  • Mobile plant equipment & heavy welding experience (essential)
  • Current Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence highly regarded) 
  • Current Standard 11
