About The Role
Due to an upcoming brownfields hard rock mining project, we are seeking Health, Safety, Environment and Training Advisors. Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. Located nearby Southern Cross, these roles are offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO roster from surrounding towns.
In this role, you will;
- Coordinate and assist in the implementation of safe systems of work across the project.
- Assist in delivering of the site safety management plans and safety objectives.
- Facilitate and lead incident investigations as required.
- Conduct inspections and audits on a regular basis to identify deficiencies.
- Monitor compliance to monthly activity schedules and support site leaders in their delivery.
- Assist with the inputting of key data into site systems for event reporting and ongoing or periodic reporting.
- Assist with the collation and collection of evidence for internal and external audits.
- Support the HSE Superintendent with coaching and mentoring of site personnel.
About You
- Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV WH&S.
- Demonstrated experience in open pit mine operations.
- Sound knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012, the Work Health Safety Regulations 2012 and the Mining Regulations 2020.
- Lead Auditor Qualification (desirable)
- Cert IV TAE (desirable)
