An opportunity for a Head of to be accountable for the development and management of NAB’s travel program, which meets the needs of the various travel cohorts.

The role will be responsible for the development and management of an executive travel program which ensures the needs of senior leaders and high frequency travellers are met.

In this Head of role, you will

  • Develop and manage the executive travel program and wider NAB travel program.
  • Select and negotiate with key travel providers, e.g. global hotels, airlines etc to drive best-in-class travel outcomes for our stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with offices of c-suite executives to understand their specific requirements and align sourcing Travel strategy with business objectives to ensure a seamless integration.
  • Proactively assess supplier risks and implement robust strategies to mitigate potential disruptions, ensuring continuity and reliability in the services
  • Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, driving excellence in procurement processes.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Proactively lead and develop a high performing, engaged and talented team.

What you will bring

  • Experience on driving Travel strategies for large / complex organisation and establishment of executive travel requirements.
  • Ability to build relationships with c-suite executive offices to deliver improved and smooth travel experience.
  • Leadership Agility including the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Effective in all forms of communications, including ability to engage with Senior executives to meet their travel needs and improve the experience.
  • Experience at providing recommendations on improving Travel experience that deliver tangible outcomes at all levels.
  • Progressive experience in sourcing, procurement with years of experience in driving global travel program including creating, managing and driving Travel strategies and policies in a large complex organisation.
  • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts / deals with global hotels, airlines to drive best valued quality outcomes and managing supplier relationships.
