Associate Director – Deal Structuring & Execution (Corporate Health), Sydney CBD
As an Associate Director – Deal Structuring & Execution (Corporate Health), you will lead a highly engaged and collaborative team and partner with our Relationship Managers within the Corporate Health specialisation to deliver complex deal structuring and the execution of these deals for our customers.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead a high performing team of Associates and Senior Associates.
- Support Relationship Bankers, and work collaboratively across teams and broader stakeholders, to deliver strong customer satisfaction.
- Lead transactions, prepare credit submissions & recommendations to credit, support transaction execution through due diligence and legal documentation (directly or indirectly).
- Drive collaboration and the desired Enterprise culture to maximise the effectiveness of enterprise objectives and deliverables.
- Drive efficiency and change process to maximise the right outcome for the team and NAB and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Improve awareness of NAB’s credit policies and internal risk appetite, and utilise product and sector experience to contribute in problem solving;
- Contribute to the team’s development plan, technical upskilling, and deepening industry speciality knowledge to maintain high performance of the team – e.g., coordinate training sessions, arrange Deal Reviews, facilitate working groups, maintain updated industry papers & benchmarking for Healthcare sectors.
- Be responsible for the portfolio management and the ongoing monitoring of the risk and compliance requirements, ensuring portfolio hygiene is to an excellent standard.
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience in corporate and/or institutional lending, with deal structuring and credit assessment of large complex transactions.
- Complex lending skills and ideally experience/knowledge of transactional banking solutions i.e. credit writing, structuring, assessment and packaging of transactions
- An emphasis on customer advocacy - understanding customer needs deeply while helping them to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Customer-obsessed mindset; own customer relationships and follow up on customer challenges until they are resolved
- Able to work with speed, accuracy and respect to deliver the best outcomes for our customers
- Experience within the Healthcare sector advantageous
