Head of Enhanced Assurance

As the Head of Enhanced Assurance, you will be part of the senior leadership team in the Data & Analytics team, that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Provide leadership and set the pace and cadence for the Enhanced Assurance team performing increased Assurance reviews including the CPS 230, CPS231 and CPS234 compliance checks
  • Identify gaps to better practice in current assurance methodology and frameworks to help shape the future state assurance program
  • Provide subject matter expertise on third party risk management, specifically assurance programs and other third-party risk areas as relevant
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of the assurance program and seek feedback on improvement opportunities
  • Communicating and driving best practice and consistency across the enterprise specific to third-party risk assessment activities

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in vendor risk assurance, preferably with technology risk management and/or internal audit experience
  • Strong knowledge of control design, risk assessment and assurance methodologies
  • Experience in building a vendor assurance operating model with a global workforce
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including vendor engagement
  • Knowledge of relevant Prudential Standards (e.g.  APRA CPS234 Information Security and CPS230 Operational Risk Management and previously CPS231 Outsourcing)
  • Knowledge of current global best practice and emerging thinking on Third Party Risk Management
