As the Senior Product Designer – Digital Channels, you will:
- Play a pivotal role in driving the design of our digital products and accountable for the execution of design tasks
- Leverage the power of design thinking to solve complex problems, making banking more intuitive, engaging and accessible
- Continuously explore, iterate and refine our experiences to exceed the expectations of our customers and colleagues
As a Senior Product Designer (Mobile Native), in Design Digital Channels, you will:
- Lead and own design projects end to end, including writing briefs, defining objectives, shaping project scope, and aligning with business goals whilst following the Design Ways of Working.
- Conduct user/customer research, usability testing, and gather user feedback to inform design decisions
- Create interactive prototypes to communicate, test and validate design concepts. Use feedback to refine designs and improve usability.
- Apply the principles of inclusive design to create products and services that are accessible by everyone including mobile native
- Contribute to, use and evolve the nab design system to maintain consistency and efficiency for nab digital assets.
- Collaboratively and effectively promote ways of working with other cross practice designers to ensure all design activities are linked and information is shared.
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and translate requirements into design concepts. Gather input and feedback on design concepts and iterate accordingly.
- Communicate, present and visualise design insights, ideas and concepts to stakeholders and domain partners, providing user centred insights to support design decisions.
- Excellent working knowledge of the design process, experience design methodologies and principles
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience working as a senior product designer
- Proven experience in visual design and user interactions for mobile native with demonstrated understanding of iOS and Android design patterns
- Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of the design process, experience design methodologies and principles
- Strong experience working in Agile, using agile tools & methods
- Proven experience using design processes and tools to digitise experiences
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Preferred experience in defining and maintaining a mobile native and mobile responsive design system
- Ability to at times work independently in a fast-paced environment when required
- Strong understanding of Human Interface Guidelines (iOS) and Material Design (Android)
- Bring a positive can-do attitude to the team and role
