In this Manager role, you will
• Partner with customer facing teams to provide strategic advice, identify and implement health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) initiatives to drive the effective management of HSW risks.
• Engage business leaders to drive improvements in HSW performance and ensure they have full visibility of physical and psychosocial risks within their business.
• Prepare and present high-quality health and safety reports for Leadership teams, highlighting key HSW risks and mitigation strategies, safety metrics and areas for improvement.
• Undertake risk assessments and reviews of enterprise HSW risks, along with activities to strengthen the implementation of NAB’s safety management system.
• Provide HSW advice on Third Party Risk Management to ensure effective identification and management of HSW risks, in addition to ongoing monitoring of safety performance for key suppliers.
• Undertake HSW internal audits, support external audits and Regulatory inspections as required.
• Drive the effective development, governance and delivery of NAB’s HSW strategy and frameworks as a key member of the HSW leadership team.
What you will bring
• Tertiary qualification in health and safety.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisory role, ideally working with Retail or other customer facing teams.
• Experience in coaching and developing others in safety practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks including for psychosocial risks.
• Audit experience including for ISO 45001 and/or self-insurance Work Health and Safety audits.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and presenting reports to Senior Leadership teams.
• Strong execution discipline and service mindset that ensures effective and efficient delivery.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills to understand and manage business impacts/needs to achieve positive strategic outcomes.
