The Technology Careers Associate role plays a key role within our People & Culture team by supporting strategic and diverse early and emerging career talent pipelines that meet the required future capability needs of our business (priority focus on Technology & Enterprise Operations).
As an Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the business to identify, attract, hire, develop and retain early and emerging Tech talent (interns, graduates and career transitions) and driving best practice with our early talent pathway needs across Australia.
• Initially a 6-month secondment/fixed-term opportunity with possibility to extend.
• Shape the future of NAB by ensuring early and emerging career recruitment delivers an excellent experience.
• Provide Early Tech Career SME advice to stakeholders to ensure NAB delivers on its commitments today and into the future.
In this Associate role, you will:
• Partner with People and Culture teams to ensure a cohesive candidate experience by sharing ideas and input to continuously improve volume early career hiring practices.
• Use data effectively to drive recruitment, program delivery and candidate improvements.
• Support program recruitment and engagement initiatives including marketing, interview scheduling, resume and testing reviews, data reporting and communication of outcomes.
• Support day to day program delivery operations including onboarding, rotation placements, development, roll off and cohort coordination.
• Maintain relationships and engagement opportunities with universities and other tertiary institutions. Represent NAB at Carers Fairs and campus activities.
• Coordinate learning and training initiatives, working with internal business stakeholders to coordinate activities and workshops to uplift early talent capabilities.
• Bring to life the NAB GVP and NAB Tech EVP via consistent communications to candidates/talent and maintenance of NAB profiles on student job boards.
• Support the broader Careers Team with other strategic partnerships like high school engagements with NAB client schools.
