Private Client Director - Melbourne

In this Private Client Director role, you will
Have strong business development and relationship management responsibilities, professionally representing the business in direct client interactions as well as in associated business, community, and social networks.
As a Private Client Director you will be responsible for the proactive management of some of our most valuable Private Client relationships. This includes managing a portfolio and driving growth of the business across multiple client portfolios through existing client relationships and acquisition of new customers.
Client satisfaction is paramount, leading to consistent advocacy for our services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high and ultra-high value complex customers.
- Identify new business and referral opportunities and establish, develop, and utilise networks of internal and external contacts.
- Use experience and knowledge to help clients preserve and grow their wealth.
- Personally sanction lending within own Delegated Lending authorities
- Prepare and submit for approval consumer and business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analysing industry and business information.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to best serve your customers.
- Identify customers’ goals and aspirations through quality conversations and face to face meetings.
What you’ll bring
- Previous banking experience dealing with High-Net-Worth clients, and Ultra High-Net-Worth clients.
- Previous experience within Private banking, Business banking, Asset Management, Markets and/or Investment banking.
- Extensive banking experience, particularly in relation to complex credit/lending/investments
- Proven experience with business development/acquisition of new clients.
- Sound understanding of banking products and services.
