Head of Assessment (Product Management)

As the Head of Assessment (Product Management), you will be joining the Home Ownership team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Lead a Sub-Domain for the products and platforms in Home Ownership, ensuring the products and platforms are stable, reliant and compliant for our customers and colleagues.
  • Drive cutting edge product ownership practices and behaviours across their Sub-Domain, ensuring that the teams have the right skills, knowledge and decision-making rights to drive customer centric outcomes, lead squads, and drive product delivery end to end.
  • Instil and promote the right behaviours in their team to demand stability of platforms, speed to resolution and deliver with velocity and ensure alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to maintain production stability, influence adoption and support technology release planning and business go live to deliver customer value.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar senior Product Management leadership role within the Banking industry, preferably in Home Lending.
  • In-depth experience playing a leadership role, including leading senior engagement, driving cultural change, and development of colleagues.
  • An in-depth understanding of relevant financial products perspective.
  • Extensive experience in product management, managing operational risk with deep understanding of relevant operational risk frameworks.
  • Proven experience in mobilising and supporting large, cross functional and self-managing teams to accomplish outcomes, including experience working within a regulatory environment, including compliance, obligations and scheme management.
  • Software development and testing, ideally with agile experience.
  • Experience playing a leadership role, including leading senior engagement, driving cultural change, and development of colleagues.
  • Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision maker who is a strategic thinker that drives customer centricity.
