Finance Partner Personal Everyday Banking

As the Finance Partner for Retail Deposits (Personal Everyday Banking), you will play a pivotal role to work alongside the business to provide quality commercial insight, analysis and recommendations to drive performance. The role is ideally suited to a strategic and commercially astute candidate with both financial services and finance partnering experience.
 
In this Finance Partner role, you will
• Support the Retail Deposits (PEB) Executive and leadership team to grow the business, aligned with their strategic ambition, through a deep understanding of the business, strategy and its key drivers.
• Deliver high quality commercial insights and advice to drive performance improvement. Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis. Develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
• Constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions through financial analysis, balancing outcomes of key stakeholders including customers, shareholders and regulators.
• Produce high quality, insightful and timely management and external reporting (monthly reporting, planning and forecasting, leadership team presentations and market reporting).
• Collaborate with peers to identify and share best practice.
 
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
• High level of intellectual curiosity, accountability and resilience, with strong financial modelling and critical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive analysis, insight and recommendations to optimise strategic and operational decision making.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience constructively challenging management’s proposals and decisions to drive strategy and performance. 
• Effective communication skills together with ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• CA/CPA/CFA/MBA qualified with financial services product experience.
