As part of the NAB Private Wealth Legal Team reporting to the Head of Legal, NAB Private Wealth, you will form part of a specialised team of lawyers providing quality legal expertise and advice with a client focus in the advice, investments and wealth management industry.
NAB Private Wealth Legal provides end-to-end legal support to JBWere, nabTrade and Private Bank – including financial services law advice, product and platform development and distribution, marketing, transaction support, regulatory change, development of policy and procedure, event management and breach reporting.
Each day you’ll go above and beyond to:

Act as a trusted advisor and provide advice across Advice & JBWere, Compliance, Private Bank, nabTrade, Markets & Investment, Strategy, Investment Platforms, Product and Operations.

Proactively abreast of changes to law, legislation, regulatory guidance and policy, to support the business in understanding and responding to such changes.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customer. You'll need:

4+ years PQE experience providing legal advice in relation to financial services, particularly investments, advice and wealth, in Australia.

Strong commercial acumen and exposure to the Australian regulatory environment, particularly ASIC and ASX laws, regulations, rules and framework.

Experience with investment platforms and structures including IDPS, online trading platforms, custodians, and alternative investment structures.
