In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Personal Banking Finance team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple and winning together.
 
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
• Support the close and consolidation of monthly Personal Banking division results.
• Communicate insights in a digestible format that can be easily understood.
• Review historical financial and non-financial data and assist to illustrate relationships between data sets, using Power Pivot or Power BI where possible.
• Increase proficiency in data extraction, manipulation and presentation tools (excel, HFM, Thinkcell, powerpoint).
• Develop effective stakeholder skills to gather information that cannot be self-sourced and respond to finance stakeholder queries.
• Continuously improve above processes for robustness and resiliency but also to tilt away from processing/reporting to analysis and insight.
 
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 
• Effective utilisation of tools to extract, manipulate and analyse data, including HFM, Excel, Thinkcell, Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as resilience with stakeholder management.
• Experience with analysis and problem solving.
• Professional experience in finance/accounting, financial services, corporate reporting, risk reporting or data analytics.
• Tertiary qualified (Commerce/Business/Economics or related), ideally working towards CA/CPA.
