Associate, Remediation

  • In the role of Associate Remediation, you will put customers at the centre of everything you do.

  • This is a 9-month fixed term role. Multiple vacancies.  

 

In this Associate Remediation role, reporting into the Lead Remediation – Uplift team, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Obtain and verify AML/regulatory compliance documents from bankers and clients.   

  • Screen and assess customers to identify Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Tax Evasion, and other risk. 

  • Upload KYC information into system and assess C&IB client risk profiles accurately (Right First Time). 

  • Meet onboarding, ongoing customer due diligence and other ad-hoc AML/KYC and regulatory compliance remediation project deadlines. 

  • Proactively liaise and engage with relationship teams and clients to obtain AML/KYC documents. 

  • Liaise with offshore Onboarding teams for cross border C&IB clients. 

  • Assist relationship teams with their AML/KYC and regulatory compliance questions. 

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Demonstrated experience in AML/KYC including completing due diligence and risk assessment for onboarding and/or periodic reviews is preferred.  

  • Previous experience and knowledge in a customer service operations environment will be highly regarded.  

  • Previous experience in customer screening and assessments methods to identify Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Fraud, Tax Evasion is preferable but not essential.  

  • Knowledge of AUSTRAC regulation and NAB’s AML policies and procedures.  

  • Strong customer experience with the ability to build strong relationships.  

  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to details.
