Consultant, Group Development

Opportunity to provide Group Development team and senior stakeholders at NAB with quality advice, research and analytical insights. This will assist in the execution of acquisitions, divestments and other strategic initiatives.

In the role of consultant, you will join the Group Development team that’s focused on moving with speed.
 
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
• Support the management of transaction execution and engagement with key external counterparties
• Prepare presentations and communications to contribute to decision making and influence senior stakeholders
• Support internal governance forums and Boards that hold investments
• Draft external documents and marketing materials
• Engage with the relevant business divisions or support functions in NAB as well as external advisers and external parties on a day-to-day basis
• Undertake a range of analysis including performing valuations, financial modelling and industry analysis
• Provide general project management support to senior team members
 
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 
• Experience in either financial services, another corporate development role, an investment bank, top tier-chartered accounting firm or leading consulting firm
• A Business and financial acumen
• To be highly analytical with excellent quantitative analysis
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• An undergraduate degree from a leading university in Finance, Commerce, Economics or quantitative discipline is required
