Senior Consultant, Strategy & Governance

In the role of Consultant, Strategy & Governance, you will report to the Director, Strategy & Governance that’s doubling down making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Drive the ongoing evolution of the C&IB strategy, design of strategic initiatives and provide execution governance across CI&B.
- Prepare design of specific strategic initiatives/programs that contribute to CIB’s strategic ambitions
- Collaborate with Group, Divisional and Business teams to ensure Enterprise lens / alignment on outputs
- Prepare content for Board and C&IBLT, preparing consolidated C&IB Investment Plan and provide insights on effectiveness and prioritisation of spend in the context of CIB’s overall agenda
- Build a strong network of relationships within C&IB and NAB that enables you to have a handle on opportunities/issues that don’t show up on paper, and solve for them
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- 8+ years of professional experience in consulting or banking
- Ability to understand and interpret economic and market factors and events
- Experience in business strategy development
- Experience designing strategic initiatives in large organisations
- Ability to understand complex business problems and provide solutions
- Knowledge of CIB segment viewed favourably but not essential
- Excellent listening skills, to draw out underlying issues and align multiple stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities or to problem solve business challenges
- Stakeholder management and influence - ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders up to Executive level leaders
