Consultant, Strategy & Governance

In the role of Consultant, Strategy & Governance, you will report to the Director, Strategy & Governance that’s doubling down making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- support strategy and governance activity in CIB, with specific focus area extracting, analysing and synthesising relevant data to support strategy design, as well as providing PMO support to govern strategy execution.
- Work effectively with CIB leaders to support execution of the transformation agenda, with specific reference to managing cost and benefit realisation
- Support the shaping of initiatives of key funded and BAU initiatives that support achievement of CIB’s strategic priorities
- Work with teams across CIB to coordinate and track progress of cross-divisional initiatives being executed
- Perform market analysis and research to identify external trends and insights
- Develop papers to summarise project findings and recommendations for senior audiences
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- 5+ years of professional experience in consulting or banking
- Ability to understand complex business problems and provide solutions
- Knowledge of CIB segment viewed favourably but not essential
- Creativity and ability to simplify complex processes and issues, problem solving and process analysis
- Ability to prepare complex content for presentation to senior stakeholders (Advanced Powerpoint)
- Working experience with Power BI, Clarity, Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to all audiences including Executives
- Excellent listening skills, to draw out underlying issues
