Specialised Transactional Banking Manager - South East Melbourne VIC

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Transaction Banking Manager to join our team of Business Bankers located in South East Melbourne.

Transaction Banking Managers are integral product partners supporting our Business Banking team. They provide efficient solutions to help businesses collect money, manage their cash and to make payments securely.  As a Transaction Banking Manager you will have deep payments industry knowledge as you will work alongside, and support, our larger and more complex customers.

Proactively engaging with customers, you will draw on your previous banking, cashflow or finance knowledge to help identify and deliver the best transactional banking solutions to meet our business customer needs. With an innovative approach, you will improve cashflow, business efficiencies and navigate an increasingly complex, digitised and integrated business environment.

Your Focus:

  • Deliver a great customer experience and grow customer advocacy
  • Identify complex client solutions across a diverse range of transaction banking products to ensure that we meet client's specific needs
  • Collaboratively engage with Bankers, Specialists and referral partners
  • Provide valued insights and appropriate recommendations on cash management & payment solutions
  • Lifting Business Banker knowledge and capability through coaching and influencing
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures and escalate events, issues and breaches as they are identified.

About You:

You will have deep insights and experience in understanding the challenges business owners face with the ability to translate business aspiration into strategic execution. A comprehensive understanding of business banking and/or financial solutions is highly desirable, along with the ability to work with complexity and ambiguity.

Highly motivated, organised, and proactive, you will also demonstrate:

  • Strong networks and business development skills
  • Robust, proactive operating rhythm
  • Collaborative stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in building and maintaining quality relationships
  • Sound business acumen and knowledge of cashflow solutions
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (ideal)
