As the Head of Analytics Personal Everyday Banking, you will be part of the senior leadership team in the Data & Analytics team, that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead the data & analytics team that leverages data, analytics, and emerging technologies to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance, enhance customer experience, support digital transformation, and ensure robust risk management.
- Deliver on the analytics strategy, ensuring it aligns with NAB’s broader objectives of growth, digital innovation, and customer-centricity.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and frontline staff to build a world-class analytics capability that supports both operational excellence and strategic transformation.
- Drive business performance by using data-driven insights to inform product strategy, pricing, and portfolio management, with the goal of improving P&L outcomes, market share, and customer acquisition for everyday banking products.
- Enhance customer experiences by driving analysis of customer behaviours, needs, and feedback to identify opportunities for improving and digitising customer journeys, thereby lifting Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and overall satisfaction.
- Support the digital transformation by leveraging analytics and AI to accelerate the adoption of digital channels and solutions, supporting the bank’s ambition to deliver effortless and personalised experiences for customers and colleagues.
- Lead a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of empowerment, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Drive innovation by staying at the forefront of analytics and technology trends, embedding new tools and methodologies (such as cloud and AI) to future-proof NAB’s analytics capability.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- In-depth experience working in a similar senior leadership role in Data and Analytics coupled with deep experience across Advanced Analytics, and Data Science within Financial Services preferably Personal/Retail Banking.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics, data science, and statistical methodologies, including experience with machine learning, data sourcing, cleansing, ETL and development of analytical models using tools such as Python, R, SQL.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with regulatory requirements in the use and application of data.
- Proven track record of building, motivating and developing data & analytic teams to deliver tangible customer and business results.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts to executive audiences to ensure buy in to changes.
- Sophisticated influencing skills and ability to influence and shape outcomes at an executive level.
- Well-developed leadership skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across diverse geographical locations.
- Strong project management skills with a colleague and customer first mindset.
