Associate, Contract Governance

  • Build long-term relationships by understanding and adapting to changing customer needs
  • You will be tasked to monitor and report the performance of our key contracts and suppliers and find simple solutions when things are complex or don't make sense.
  • You will be a key member of a specialist team and engage with a broad range of internal and external partners to drive success for NAB’s Merchant Services and HICAPS.

In the role of Associate, Contract Governance, you will join our Business and Private Banking team that’s doubling down making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Provide advice to our product teams on contract management lead times required to meet deadlines
  • Be a key contact to provide guidance and support on any stage of the end-to-end supplier lifecycle process for our large portfolio of suppliers
  • Proactively work within the Suppliers and Partners team to support the development, administration and reporting of contracts, supplier performance, supplier risks, and supply activity in accordance with NAB's policies and procedures as well as ensure both parties are meeting contract obligations
  • Prepare submissions for approval and help facilitate seamless approval and execution of contracts
  • Assist and support other team members (when required) on processing purchase requisition and invoice payments.

We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Experience in managing multiple contracts and associated governance tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Be highly organised and be able to juggle competing priorities with calm, confidence and precision
  • Understanding of end-to-end supplier management processes
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver right outcomes
  • 3+ years’ experience in managing external third parties within a business, procurement or support team
  • Payments industry experience, knowledge of Ariba and APRA prudential standards preferred.
