Analyst, Climate

In the role of Analyst, Climate, you will report to the Director of the Climate Office that’s doubling down making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Work across multiple priorities to help deliver on NAB’s climate agenda and to help drive our collective efforts to support our customers and colleagues as they face into the opportunities and challenges that climate change presents.
- Contribute to the delivery of Climate strategic priorities in support of the Climate Leadership Team and broader enterprise decision making.
- Contribute to the analysis and thinking to develop insights that drive strategic recommendations across key Climate initiatives and priorities, including (but not limited to) communications, commercial and commitment positions, investment and innovation/partnerships, governance & risk management and advocacy.
- Help synthesising findings and developing compelling, structured business presentations that clearly articulate recommendations
- Engage with key stakeholders to scope, develop and deliver key insights and strategic recommendations
- Help develop an understanding of Climate trends, including key implications for the business, and become a subject matter expert across the bank
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- 1-4 years supporting development of and/or implementation of strategic initiatives in consulting or large corporate (or other relevant experience) preferably in banking and financial services or analytical experience in investment funds/firms
- Strategic thinking, curious, analytical and interested in problem solving.
- Excel modelling and presentation skills
- Proactive, positive attitude and strong motivation for continuous learning and development
- Verbal and written communications skills
- Experience in banking and climate science and risk, associated regulation and technology
- Collaboration and high performing team mindset
