In the role of Associate Director, you will join the Group Development team that’s focused on moving with speed.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
• Work with Group Development senior team members on acquisitions and divestments, strategic projects and initiatives.
• Support the transaction lead in the day to day running of Merger & Acquisition projects with opportunities to lead specific workstreams.
• Undertake and oversee activities of junior team members to gather data, structure and perform robust strategic analysis and financial modelling to support strategic decision making.
• Develop clear and compelling business presentations or reports for senior executive audiences (Executive Leadership Team, CEO, Board).
• Proactively develop an understanding of the financial services industry, including monitoring financial services sector market trends and developments.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, and maintain composure and focus under pressure.

• To be highly analytical with excellent quantitative analysis.
• Substantial experience in financial services, corporate development, investment banking or M&A/valuation, from an investment bank, top tier-chartered accounting firm or leading consulting firm.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior level stakeholders across the business.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Ability to develop and coach junior team members.
• Flexible and comfortable working in an agile, fast, and constantly changing environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance/Commerce/Economics with a CA, CFA, SIA or Master of Finance desirable but not essential.
