In the role of Senior Product Designer, you will join our Digital, Inclusive and Design Systems team that’s doubling down on customer obsession. 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Lead and own design projects across financial crime, fraud operations, and Digital Platforms, focusing on design delivery
• Conduct user/customer research and gather user feedback to inform design decisions
• Create prototypes to communicate, test and validate design concepts. Use feedback to refine designs and improve usability.
• Work closely with our engineers and product teams as the role sits heavily in our design delivery phase
• Apply the principles of inclusive design to create products and services that are accessible by everyone.
• Contribute to, use and evolve the nab design system to maintain consistency and efficiency for nab digital assets.
• Communicate, present and visualise design insights, ideas and concepts to stakeholders and partners, providing user centred insights to support design decisions.
• Act as a coach to more junior team members, providing guidance, sharing best practice and helping to advance their skills.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

• Extensive experience working as a product designer with extensive experience across design delivery
• Ability to foster relationships with product and engineer teams to deliver great experiences for customers and colleagues
• Proven experience working in a delivery environment, to take design from brief and deliver to engineering squads.
• Influencing skills, and confidence in challenging situations to solve the right problems and advocate for the best experiences
• A design systems-thinker to understand how experiences connect with other enterprise systems
• Proactive and ability to work independently, and handle multiple projects at the same time
• Strong experience working in Agile, using agile tools & methods
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Proven experience working closely with product and engineering teams
• Preferred experience in defining and maintaining a design system
• Strong collaborator, being able to work with various domains and both technical and business stakeholders
