Analyst, Regulatory Operations
In the role of an Analyst, you will support the Regulatory Operations Team within C&IB Operations. You will attend to a range of activities to ensure that NAB delivers an efficient and high-quality service to colleagues and customers. You will also ensure activities are compliant with relevant regulators.

In the role of an Analyst, you will join the Regulatory Operations Team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Work effectively and collaboratively across the enterprise to complete tasks and review work practices in order to build and maintain an efficient, compliant operating environment
- Ensure that instructions, enquiries and queries are acted on efficiently, completely and in accordance with NAB policies and procedures.
- Support the monitoring of NAB’s OTC derivatives regulatory reporting to global regulators and the investigation of any concerns identified.
- Help to develop and maintain a strong control framework that minimises operational and regulatory risk within the Global Regulatory Reporting Operations Team
- Ensure high service standards are maintained at all times and escalate any problems or issues that may impact on the level and quality of service provided, to enable corrective action to be taken.
- All responsibilities need to be carried out effectively as an operations team, with a true team mindset in order to deliver timely and quality outcomes to cross-divisional stakeholders.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Relevant experience in a Wholesale Banking environment and Financial Markets.
- Knowledge and understanding in G20 OTC derivative obligations including Portfolio Reconciliation and Trade Reporting or MIFID reporting is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills to interpret and assess information and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders with confidence.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to work flexibly, handle competing deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
