Manager, Data Risk Management

Exciting opportunity for a Manager, Data Risk Management to provide strategic leadership for the management of Data Risk in Financial Crime, ensuring the function enables proactive risk identification, rapid response to critical data events, and continuous improvement in data integrity.

In the role of Manager, Data Risk Management, you will join a team that is doubling down on customer obsession by owning it.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to take ownership of: 

  • Lead critical data issue management, data risk governance and regulatory compliance support
  • Incident response leadership, inclusive of root cause analysis and incident resolution
  • Data quality improvement- drive proactive data quality initiatives across customer, transaction and financial crime data to enhance risk coverage and operational effectiveness
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration between financial crime risk, data management, technology, operations and governance teams to ensure coordinated issue resolution
  • Team leadership and development- build a high performing, risk aware team culture that values collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Previous experience in People leadership, ideally across hybrid locations
  • Experience in data risk management or similar governance functions- proven ability to identify, assess and manage data risks within complex environments
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime accountabilities, obligations, including familiarity with the type of data that underpins key obligations
  • Incident and issue management- leading high priority remediation efforts and strong root cause analysis skills
  • Strong and flexible communication skills, able to distil and simplify complex matters, and deliver through analysis, facilitation, and coordination with stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management- partner with business, technology, risk and governance teams to drive data quality remediation and risk mitigation strategies
