Associate Director, Group External Reporting

An opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Group External Reporting team. The role is responsible for delivering oversight and control over the Group results, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of external reports to Shareholders and investors, the Board and Group ELT, including the Quarterly Results, Results Announcement and Annual Financial Report.

In the role of Associate Director, you will join the Group External Reporting Finance team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple and winning together.
 
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to
• Be the document owner responsible for the preparation and development of External Financial Reports.
• Enhance controls and effectiveness of key spreadsheets and analytical templates to ensure information is accurate, timely and compliant.
• Maintain appropriate documentation over external reporting to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide insights into the Group results to Investor Relations and senior management.
• Complete the Quarterly reporting of Group results for the Trading Update. 
• Analysis of the financial information to provide the Head of Group External Reporting and senior management with valuable insight into business performance.
 
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 
• Strong understanding of financial and management accounting standards, polices, practises and processes.
• Can apply sound logic to break down problems and recommend solutions.
• Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and present key insights to a broad audience.
• Operational knowledge of key financial systems (HFM, SAP).
• Tertiary qualification along with CA or CPA qualification required.
