Manager Regulatory Operations Risk

As the Manager Regulatory Operations Risk, you will join the dynamic Global Regulatory Operations (GRO) team that supports NAB in fulfilling its OTC Derivatives Reforms related obligations and MIFID obligations across multiple jurisdictions. 

 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Be responsible for effective risk management including building, simplifying and monitoring metrics to support oversight of operational and regulatory risks within the GRO team functions. 

  • Support the GRO team in ensuring compliance with NAB policies, procedures and standards 

  • Proactively track the capture and completion of activities on NAB’s Risk & Compliance system, GRACE. 

  • Coordinate responses to Regulator and Internal Audit queries and requests for information on behalf of the GRO team.  

  • Be responsible for oversight of the control environment, maintaining currency of processes and ensuring any ineffective controls are addressed.  

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 

  • Previous experience in risk management, supporting Global Markets businesses in the wholesale trading environment is preferred.    

  • Strong understanding of obligations and regulatory expectations for multi-jurisdictional OTC derivatives businesses with emphasis on reporting.  

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing regulatory arrangements within financial services and/or banking will be highly regarded.  

  • Leadership experience with strong stakeholder engagement.  

  • Exceptional organisational, communication and analytical skills.
