Senior Consultant, Merchant Acquiring

As part of the Merchant Services team, the Technical Transaction Specialist will be responsible for driving merchant customer growth. Australian businesses currently require solutions for technical complexity, e-commerce, operational efficiency, transactional banking, cloud adoption, with complex integration requirements.

 

As a result, each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Customer Growth & Support:
    • Actively support merchants, focusing on driving growth and collaborating with them to provide innovative payment solutions.
    • Identify new sales opportunities for both new and existing clients.
  • Product Expertise & Sales Enablement:
    • Serve as a product sales expert in key customer conversations.
    • Provide technical insights to the Transactional Banking teams .
  • Thought Leadership & Education:
    • Offer thought leadership on acquiring, payments, and transaction solutions.
    • Educate banking teams (transactional bankers, generalists) on Merchant Acquiring.
  • Implementation Support:
    • Support implementation teams to ensure seamless customer setup.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of transactional banking, acquiring, and payments products, including e-commerce, POS, and ERP.
  • Skilled in strategic sales conversations about acquiring solutions (CP/CNP, 3D secure, tokenization, API integration).
  • Understands transactional banking's operational impact (reconciliation, integration, automation).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experienced in collaborating with diverse teams (sales, tech, marketing, product).
  • Passionate about payments industry trends and regulations.
