Product Owner, Portfolio Growth

  • Set and communicate the vision, roadmap, goals, plans and expectations of the squad within Hidden Deposits as a Product Owner
  • Be a key decision maker on business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery
  • Scope features to shape, define and deliver solution through partnering with PEB D&A team

In the role of Product Owner, Portfolio Growth, you will join the Portfolio Growth team that’s doubling down on customer obsession

Growing deposits has been identified as a key priority in the Group Strategy Evolution.

The Portfolio Growth team is accountable for driving performance across the deposits portfolio using data-led insights.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Act as Product Owner for the Portfolio Growth Squad, that’s responsible for delivering Deposits growth, through optimising portfolio performance.
  • Drive the team to use data to identify opportunities for growth and service, delivered for real-time action. Drive sales and portfolio performance across channels to deliver growth ambitions
  • Set priorities, vision, roadmap, goals, plans and expectations for the squad. Prioritise and de-prioritise the squad’s work; balancing what is realistic with what will make a difference and challenge the status quo
  • Utilise your strong communication skills and ability to influence others when coordinating and engaging with stakeholders to achieve end to end outcomes.
  • Mitigate distractions to ensure the squad can stay focused on its goals
  • Ensuring the customer value proposition stays relevant to customer needs and that we meet regulatory, legal and compliance obligations.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Proven experience as a product owner, with strong project delivery experience
  • Experience in Data, Deposits or Marketing highly regarded
  • Demonstrated understanding of Banking (Financial Products) and internal operations of the bank
  • Strong experience working with agile ways or working and familiarity with human centred design techniques
  • Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders and teams, helping shape backlog
