Finance Partner Private Wealth

As the Finance Partner for Private Wealth within our Business and Private Banking Finance division, you will lead a team to produce and provide commercial financial insight, analysis and recommendations to drive and improve business performance. The role is both Product and Distribution focused.

• Support and align with the NAB Finance Strategy to modernise Finance.

As a Finance Partner, you will join the Business and Private Banking Finance team that’s focused on winning together.
 
In this Finance Partner role, you will
• Translate the strategy of the business unit into functionally effective plan.  Provide the overall direction to the BU leadership team to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives are within the strategic parameters.
• Support the BU/EU Executives in partnership with the CFO, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner.  
• Deliver the reporting oversight of Domain and project activities, identify financial and non-financial insights.
• Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
• Lead and support the NAB Group’s financial accounting, controlling, forecasting, planning and reporting process for the NabTrade Product including statutory deliverables.
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse team, creating and fostering a feedback culture and a psychologically safe environment, track results, and provide clear follow-up and feedback. 
 
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
• Strong stakeholder management skills where you can constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
• Collaborate with peers to identify and leverage best practice to drive effectiveness uplift across the Finance partner team.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, CA/CPA preferable.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
• Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including partnering with divisions, corporate centre planning and reporting and financial control roles.
• Previous experience in Wealth, Deposits, Markets, Domains and other digital teams recognised.
• Sound professional experience in finance/accounting and financial services.
