As the Technical Product Owner, you will be joining the Technology and Enterprise Operations team. You will be tasked with steering the development of our technology products, ensuring they are in line with business objectives and user requirements and join a team who are doubling down on customer obsession.
This role requires a robust technical background to effectively collaborate with architecture, development teams and external stakeholders, defining and prioritising the product roadmap to deliver high-quality solutions.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Define Technical Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear near-term technical roadmap for the product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements, in conjunction with Service Owner and Architecture.
- Orchestrate External Engagements: Serve as the primary contact between external stakeholders and internal product teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Prioritise Delivery and Changes: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, making informed decisions on feature development and enhancements based on stakeholder input and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to communicate product vision, progress, and gather feedback.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and development.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all product releases meet quality standards and user expectations through rigorous testing and feedback incorporation.
What you’ll bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in technology-driven environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and technical architectures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex problems, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with document intelligence, document management and content management capabilities tools and product suites.
- Familiarity with market analysis and user research methodologies.
