In the role of Manager, 3rd Party Home Lending Assessment, you will join the NAB’s Customer Home Lending Operations team that’s doubling down making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead a dedicated team, you support our customers in achieving their dream of owning a home, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to brilliance and customer obsession.
- Develop your direct reports to be exceptional leaders who are close to their people, manage by knowing what is happening in their area and who take ownership for quality of the customer and colleague experience.
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture that aligns with the NAB’s values and goals, underpinned by Distinctive Leadership principles and Who we are behaviours.
- Enable a supportive, growth-oriented culture that helps colleagues unlock their potential and achieve peak performance, underpinned by Distinctive Leadership principles.
- Ensure credit assessors use and apply their DCA within risk appetite while balancing customer obsession to deliver brilliance for our home loan customers.
- Forecast future needs to ensure the team has the necessary resources, such as people, tools and funding, to meet customer expectations and colleague objectives.
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- 8+ years’ experience in banking or financial services, with at least 3+ years in an operations role
- Lead and supported projects and change initiatives
- Built strong relationships to drive strategic priorities
- Practical experience in Retail, 3rd Party or Business & Private Banking preferred
- Credit Assessment experience with an understanding of lending process, credit policy and procedures
- Strategic thinking and agility with strong ability to problem solve and make decisions that support strategy
- Strong stakeholder management of both internal and external stakeholders
