Colleague Banking Executive - Work In Any Capital City
- Our Colleague Banking team is a newly created team to help our colleagues achieve their everyday banking and home ownership goals.
- We look after customers whether it’s a growing family, experienced investor, or first-time buyer, NAB lenders help our customers purchase their dream home and climb the property ladder.
- We are looking for a highly experienced banker to help our own colleagues with their homeowner ship and everyday banking journey.
Day to day you will:
- Use your expertise to add value to every colleague and offer advice and solutions tailored to their needs specialising in dealing with senior stakeholders with complex lending needs
- Use the NAB Customer Conversations framework in every interaction to identify your colleague’s goals and needs for all their banking to deepen relationships
- Stay connected and support existing colleague to understand what may have changed and invite them in for an appointment
- Set colleagues up digitally and educate them on managing their loans and banking in the NAB App
- Provide a simple and fast application process for colleague by using the ways of working operating rhythm, SOPs and guides and NAB systems to deliver a consistently great experience
- Have a relentless focus on quality and compliance and adhering to the required standards
- Support your broader team to ensure colleagues are not impacted by team leave or vacancies
- Manage operational and legislative risk effectively and have a genuine focus on continuous improvement and executional excellence
- Contribute to a collaborative and open communication environment within your broader team. Attend regular team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices with your team members.
- Supporting the development of Colleague Banking Specialists
You will have:
- Proven experience in home lending with a deep understanding of the market.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A self-starter nature who is driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
- A passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
- Tech-savvy expertise, with the ability to adapt to new tools and platforms.
- 8+ years' experience in retail/commercial banking and/or credit assessment & management, with a proven track record in sales and a passion for customer service
- 18 months+ lender tenure (complex lending experience)
