Senior Associate, Markets (Term Deposit)

The role:
Working on the Deposit Solutions desk in NAB Markets, the role will assist in management and executing of our key customer Term Deposit needs. The role has a high degree of direct client interface and deal execution/administration. Key attributes will include the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner, to be efficient in workflow management, and work in a team-based environment.
The role will also provide you with the opportunity to proactively develop technical capabilities and take ownership of a customer experience across the broader Markets division.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Manage customer Term Deposit relationships
- Assist with the smooth running of the team by following up on inquiries and liaising with product areas, dealers, bankers, clients and operations as required
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide the right solutions for individual customer cash flow needs
- Monitor market trends and interest rate movements
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Demonstrated experience in financial markets, with a particular focus on deposit and fixed income products
- AFMA accreditation would be desirable but not compulsory
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a team
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills
