As the Associate Market Risk Analytics (MRA), you will join the Market Risk Analytics team to provide timely and quality insights and analytics, enabling new Risk products and ensure we are driving the right outcomes for our customers. 

 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of market risk metrics against risk appetite limit structures to key stakeholders. 

  • Business support and maintenance of the Market Risk Internal-Model framework and systems from which risk metrics are produced in a timely and accurate manner. 

  • Perform deep dive analysis to add value to the Internal-Model, risk framework and decision making for senior leaders. 

  • Develop and maintain models and tools for Market Risk analysis. 

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with key stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes that maintain a robust risk framework and escalate material issues to the Manager of MRA. 

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 

  • Previous experience in financial services, data sciences, Engineering or related discipline preferred.   

  • Strong knowledge of risks, controls and compliance obligations with knowledge of financial markets or related products will be highly regarded.  

  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions, generate ideas and solutions, and resolve complex problems.  

  • Strong engagement and influencing skills with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders, including to senior level, to deliver outcomes.  

  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and experience with SQL and Python preferred.
