The Strategic Business Services (SBS) team assist our customers in financial difficulty and minimises the risk of loss to NAB. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist our Business and Private Bank customers in financial difficulty or those that have moved outside standard credit appetite through monitoring, refinancing or the insolvency appointment process.

This role will include liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including customers, bankers and legal advisors and provide you with exposure to a broad range of industries. This is a great opportunity to develop your banking credit and risk management capabilities working with experienced risk professionals that will assist you to take your career to the next level.

 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Assist with the management of customer exposures in accordance with NAB policy and procedures including: 

  • Set up and maintenance of customer files under SBS management 

  • Provision for loss assessments  

  • Loss Given Default data capture   

  • Assistance with drafting and executing file management strategies (including undertaking financial analysis and risk assessment) 

  • Contribution to initiatives to improve customer and team experiences.  

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business or related discipline preferred. 

  • Previous experience working in financial services or financial services consulting preferred. 

  • Ability to interact, influence and work with multiple stakeholders. 

  • Ability to manage workflow and prioritise effectively. 

  • Sound problem solving, written and communication skills. 

  • Proactive attitude.
