Senior Associate, Diversified Credit

As the Senior Associate, Credit Risk Diversified you will join the Diversified Credit team that’s doubling down on delivering timely and prudent credit decisions, helping customers achieving their goals.   

We are seeking candidates based in or around Bunbury, Western Australia, due to the operational requirements of the role, including on-site meetings or local travel. 

 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Provide assessment of business and personal lending from a wide range of customers and businesses. 

  • Undertake Credit decisioning with a 2nd line credit Delegated Commitment Authority by ensuring an acceptable level of risk is maintained, and losses are kept to a minimum. 

  • Ensure the bank’s policies, risk appetite and responsible lending practices are applied appropriately. 

  • Collaborate with your team to provide constructive suggestions for change and improvement. 

  • Assist with proactive management of day-to-day operations with a continual focus on improvement and refinement of policy, product, and appetite.  

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Banking and Credit Risk with previous experience in decisioning business lending transactions within delegated authority will be highly regarded.  

  • Knowledge of business and economic issues as well as understanding of business operating cycles.  

  • Previous experience in line one relationship management will be highly considered.  

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers.  

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a busy and challenging environment.
