Product Consultant, LMI – Melbourne CBD, VIC

In the role of Product Consultant, you will join the Credit Strategy Team that’s doubling down on winning together! 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to optimise home lending performance, with a strong focus on Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).
  • Support the execution of Mortgage Credit strategy and capital optimisation through analysis, modelling, reporting and strategic advice.
  • Lead and support strategic projects, regulatory initiatives and process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and LMI providers to uplift credit risk processes and outcomes.
  • Prepare and present insights, recommendations and strategy proposals to key stakeholders.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Strong background in credit risk, ideally within home lending or consumer credit.
  • Demonstrated experience working with LMI providers or third-party stakeholders.
  • Experience using SAS and SQL to interpret complex data and inform strategic outcomes.
  • Ability to translate data into clear recommendations and influence decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in quantitative field e.g. Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar.
