Manager, Business Innovation - Melbourne CBD

In the role of Manager, Business Innovation, you will join the B&PB Strategy & Execution team that’s doubling down on owning it.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead a committed team that supports the B&PB strategy across innovation, property, and partnerships.
- Develop and deliver innovation, property and partnership assessments and recommendations that are evidence-based and strategically aligned.
- Assess and analyse innovation trends including the external market, commercial opportunities, industry and competitor patterns and partnership themes impacting B&PB
- Shape initiatives within defined strategies, policies, and frameworks to deliver outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the business.
- Support major and minor property projects to uplift working standards for our bankers.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Extensive banking experience with expertise in innovation, third-party arrangements, contract negotiations, and commercial/financial analysis.
- Ability to coach and mentor to build capability, while driving collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong understanding of commercial banking landscape, including business banking requirements, and industry trends.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to shape direction, provide thought leadership, and influence outcomes at a senior level.
- Skilled in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, building strong partnerships across the business.
