Senior Associate C&IB - Sydney

  • The Senior Associate position is a key team member and part of a high performing team. You will be instrumental in providing origination support, credit analysis, deal execution, and portfolio risk management across the AF&L portfolio.

In the role of Senior Associate C&IB, you will join Natasha Sawjani and the Asset finance and leasing, client management and execution team that’s doubling down on customer obsession. 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Provide clients structured financing solutions for high value, long-life, mobile assets, working alongside AF&L Originations.
  • Provide input and support on structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions, financial modelling, documentation and deal execution.
  • Drive transactions forward whilst engaging multiple stakeholders including Client Coverage, Credit, Legal, and client support teams to achieve a seamless client experience.
  • Be responsible for the ongoing risk and portfolio management of the AF&L portfolio.
  • Attend internal and external stakeholder and client meetings to support business outcomes.
  • Provide regular guidance/coaching to other members of the AF&L CME team.

 We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Experience working within Corporate & Institutional Banking
  • Strong skills in credit writing and transaction structuring
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management and leadership skills
  • Proven ability in strategic planning and execution skills
  • Tertiary qualifications, in commerce, business, finance, or related discipline
