In the role of Associate Director, Planning & Forecasting, you will join the Group Finance Executive team that’s doubling down on making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead the development and execution of the bank’s annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting processes.
- Partner with business units to ensure financial plans are aligned with operational strategies and risk appetite.
- Provide strategic financial insights and scenario modelling to support planning and performance management.
- Drive accountability of plans and forecasts across business units and track appropriately
- Provide direction and insight into stress testing frameworks and ensure integration with financial planning as well as coordinate the base case scenarios feeding the ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process), ensuring alignment with Treasury and Risk.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning tools (current models), systems (Hyperion Planning), and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and capital adequacy within the banking or financial services sector.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA/CA preferred
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and planning tools.
- Strategic thinker who can operate and connect across large organisations
