Head Of Technology and Enterprise Operations Communications

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Develop and lead the design and execution of an integrated communications strategy for NAB’s T&EO division. 
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Group Executive T&EO and the T&EO Leadership Team on communications activities including corporate projects, operational issues and reputational risks; while contributing to other non-communications related activities and discussions. 
  • Inform, engage and inspire colleagues globally to build advocacy for the strategy and how it will deliver better outcomes for customers and colleagues. 
  • Develop and drive a proactive external agenda through earned media, speeches and social media, to create awareness of how NAB is using technology to make banking safer and simpler for customers. 
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Group Executive T&EO and the T&EO Leadership Team on communications activities including corporate projects, operational issues and reputational risks; while contributing to other non-communications related activities and discussions. 
  • Lead NAB’s communications response to technology outages, cyber crisis management and other issues or events impacting customers and colleagues; including development and updating of crisis communications plans. 
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and key stakeholders including P&C, Investor Relations, Regulatory Affairs, and business stakeholders including change and operational teams to ensure consistent alignment of internal and external communications activity.  
  • Provide leadership and support the development of team members. 
  • Work with other members of the Communications and Corporate Affairs leadership teams to role model the culture, behaviours and values expected of NAB’s leaders and to support others to demonstrate same. Provide leadership and support the development of team members.

  • Execution of integrated communications campaigns and activity that positively contributes to the engagement of colleagues and T&EO’s reputation.  
  • Successful risk management, including issues identification, minimisation and management outcomes that protects NAB’s reputation.  
  • Communications that are delivered in the appropriate style of language and channel for the target audience(s). 
  • Stakeholders value and appreciate Corporate Affairs advice, and understand the team’s role in influencing business decisions aligned to NAB. 
  • Proactive role modeling of NAB’s values and behaviours as a functional leader across Communications and Corporate Affairs and taking the time to support and encourage team members.
