Audit Senior Manager - Portfolio Data Analytics

In the role of Senior Audit Manager, you will join an Internal Audit team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.

Each day you will go above and beyond to:

  • Lead engagement with Audit leadership and managers to identify, prioritise and plan for the use of data analytics to deliver assurance.
  • Establish and maintain key technology and business relationships to enable effective access to data, tools and resources to aide in audit analytics.
  • Provide guidance, challenge and oversight over scope, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to prepare data for analysis and over execution of analytics.
  • Communicate findings to audit teams and senior management.
  • Identify and execute training and coaching for data analytics team members
  • Provide coaching and guidance to audit staff on the use of data analytics tools and techniques to enable self-serve analysis for auditors.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and internal audit.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant years of experience in data analytics functions - financial services, risk or audit based preferred.
  • Experienced in leveraging data analytics in an assurance function.
  • Skilled in working with a range of data sources including structured and unstructured, data extraction and manipulation in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Highly experienced in Python, SQL, (Pyspark desirable).
  • Skilled in visualisation and Power BI.
  • Ability to communicate complex, technical points.
  • Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar qualifications.
