In the role of Senior Associate, Business Lending Finance, you will join the team that’s doubling down on making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Produce high quality, insightful management reporting and performance updates to support business decision making across our business lending products.
- Work with senior stakeholders in providing commercial financial insights, and analysis to drive and improve business performance. This includes performance & budgeting/planning, forecasting and financial reporting/ control.
- Drive continuous process improvement in our reporting.
- Support and align with the NAB Finance Strategy to modernise Finance and seek opportunities to drive simplification and process efficiencies.
- Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting of the Division’s Finance Performance (Lending volumes, Net Interest Margin, Fee incomes, credit impairment charges & ROE), including understanding of variances to Business plan /forecast to ensure accurate reporting and the production of business financial insight for potential drivers of variances.
- Provide detailed financial analysis by using data analytical skills to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives.
- Maintain strong balance sheet control and understanding through the review and sign off of balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring aged balances are cleared and reconciliation breaks are clearly understood.
- Support half year and year end reporting periods reporting and disclosures
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 
- Extensive experience in a finance partnering or FP&A role within Financial Services, preferably in a revenue generating unit setting within banking
- Experience in SAP and Hyperion Finance Management systems preferred
- Experience and familiarity with advanced excel functions (i.e. Power query) and visualisation tools (i.e. think-cell) an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including producing reporting for senior management
- Analysis and problem solving
- Drives commercial insights
- Delivers results and instils trust
- Ideally CA/CPA qualified
