Senior Associate Deal Structure and Execution - Melbourne

In the role of Senior Associate Deal Structure and Execution you will join Simon Waugh and the Agri Business team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

  • Provide support to the Director/Associate Director and Relationship Teams.
  • Provide financial and risk analysis, with detailed complex lending submissions of high quality.
  • Ensure that all group exposures have been accurately assessed, with support from Director/Associate Director as required.
  • Ensure that a commercial approach is evident, to protect both clients and the Bank.
  • Gather the correct and appropriate information from clients and the Relationship Team.
  • Preparation or Client Evaluation.
  • Industry and Benchmarking Analysis.
  • Financial Analysis including Sensitivities.
  • Primary & Secondary Exit Analysis.
  • CRS management to ensure correct risk profile is reflected.
  • Analyse and prepare detailed Lending Submissions in conjunction with the Corporate Agribusiness Relationship Teams, Associate Team DS&E and Associate Director DS&E, that includes: Completion of all formal New, Increased and Annual Review submissions for exposures that have been classified as DS&E exposures. Exposures may or may not be in home state with the function supporting all DS&E exposures on a level loading basis across all states.

  • A can-do attitude, a willing and proactive nature, backed up with determination and a will to win
  • Previous experience working within a Business Banking or corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience in lending processes, credit, and financial analysis
  • Understanding of policy and verification requirements
