Senior Associate Transformation Finance

As a Senior Associate within Finance, you will produce and provide commercial financial insight, analysis, and recommendations to drive and improve business performance in the Group COO Transformation division.

In this Senior Associate role, you will

  • Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting, including understanding of variances to Business plan/expectations to ensure accurate reporting and the production of Business financial insight for potential drivers of variances.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives to the Business. The Transformation Finance team seek to add value to key business stakeholders by contributing a finance-led point of view on the most important strategic decisions facing the Domain (these include investment priorities impacting our Payments service offering, where to accelerate our simplification agenda across the Group and the pace/priority of our major technology modernisation decisions).
  • Maintain strong balance sheet control and understanding through the sign off balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring aged balances are cleared and reconciliation breaks are clearly understood and providing detailed analysis and information to support the FDC process.
  • Support the reporting oversight of Domain and project activities.
  • Support change initiatives by managing all financial impacts including validating / restatement of numbers, mapping of ledger and insight and taking actions to reduce key data gaps as required.
  • Complete maintenance requests and support HFM changes as required.

What you’ll bring

  • Excels in a dynamic environment and can successfully multi-task.
  • Sound numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Ability to utilise finance visualisation tools including Power BI.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver financial results with insights and recommendations.
  • Years of experience in Finance/Financial Services along with experience in Payments, Deposits, transactions.
  • Degree qualified ideally having a CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) an advantage.
  • Curious and proactively seeks to understand business and cost drivers.
