In the role of a Senior Associate, Provision Assessment, you will join the Business Solutions Team within NAB Assist that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
Join Business Solutions, Provision Assessment team where you will:
- Assess and exercise Delegated Commitment Authority for files with Business Lending between $1-2million, Agri Lending up to $1million and Personal Lending up to $6 million.
- Complete the end to end assess for loss process across the Business Solutions portfolio with accuracy and timeliness to ensure we meet our regulatory and financial reporting obligations.
- Review strategies to ensure they are appropriate to situation that presents. Provide advice/recommendation on alternate path forward where appropriate.
- Coach and guide less experienced colleagues on the assess for loss process and broader recoveries environment as required.
- Review and decision provision movements that are recommended to you.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Proven experience within a Collections/Recoveries environment with a sound understanding of the assess for loss and provisioning process.
- Proven ability to have challenging conversations with key stakeholders (internal and external) to identify key issues and effectively influence successful turnaround and recovery strategies.
- Detailed understanding of the requirements under the Corporations Act and the Bankruptcy Act which impact the Bank, the Bank's customers, and External Advisers.
- Identifies and understands the impact of the various Categorised Asset Characteristics.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and customer self-service channels (i.e. Siebal, Ebobs, eCRS and PowerCurve).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage internal/external stakeholders and empathise with customers.
