In the role of Analyst – Collections Strategy you will join the Collections Strategy team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
In this Analyst – Collections Strategy role, you will:
- Play a critical role in transformation how we engage with customers in arrears, using data, analytics to drive better outcomes for customers and the bank.
- Be working on developments in credit strategy, automated decisioning and portfolio monitoring.
- Assisting in analytical deep dives and identifying developing trends and new opportunities.
- Maintain portfolio monitoring tools while working with your stakeholders to influence change that optimises business return while maintaining great customer outcomes.
- Contribute and learn from wider talent in the team.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Ideally you will be Tertiary Qualified.
- Proficient in data analytics tools eg: R/Python/SAS/SQL, and MS Suite (required)
- Experience using decisioning systems e.g. FICO or Experian products (highly desirable)
- Understand RG96 Debt Collections Guidelines, APRA Prudential Standards 220 (APS220).
- Preferred 1 year in credit risk or similar experience (e.g. analytics)
- Ability to work with large data sets to gather insights
- Can use data driven analytics to develop insights, reporting and recommendations
- Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach to solve.
