As Head of Change, People and Culture, your mission is to drive transformative change that supports NAB to double down on customer obsession, foster innovation and create strong lasting customer relationships. As part of the senior leadership team in People & Culture, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your superior senior leadership, change management and transformation experience.
Driving change outcomes for a highly varied mix of people, process and technology initiatives, each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Drive enterprise-wide change initiatives that enable the organisation’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure transformation programs are delivered effectively by embedding robust change management practices, fostering stakeholder engagement, and supporting cultural alignment.
- Lead the design and implementation of frameworks that enhance adoption, minimise risk, and deliver measurable outcomes across people-focused initiatives.
- Ensure all People & Culture (P&C) projects and change initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver intended outcomes through robust governance, risk management, and performance monitoring.
- Provide visibility and oversight of the P&C change portfolio, enabling prioritisation, sequencing, and resource optimisation.
- Lead initiatives to uplift change capability across P&C, including frameworks, tools, training, and communities of practice.
- Partner with senior leaders and governance forums to embed change governance practices and drive adoption.
- Deliver reporting and insights on change health, risks, and benefits realisation to executive leadership and governance forums.
Success at NAB means going beyond to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Senior Leadership Change Management role, leading enterprise -wide large-scale change and transformation programs within People & Culture domain, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
- Deep understanding of change management, portfolio management, and governance disciplines.
- Proven ability to work in complex environments across multiple streams/evolving timelines preferably in large-scale complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in capability uplift and embedding change disciplines across an organisation.
- Deep experience in building and sustaining high performing teams.
- Extensive experience engaging and influencing executive stakeholders and governance forums.
- Strong leadership acumen, experienced in managing a team with varying levels of experience.
- Strong strategic thinking, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
