In the role of Senior Consultant, Governance you will join our CIO CIB Business Management & Transformation Team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond by:

• Owning and producing all CIO Corporate Institutional Banking submissions for Executive Risk Committee, SLT governance forums, and enterprise risk reviews.​
• Ensuring papers are high‑quality, data‑driven, aligned to enterprise standards and delivered on schedule.​
• Driving adoption of strong risk behaviours, governance discipline and transparency across CIO Corporate Institutional Banking.​
• Acting as the trusted advisor to CIO Corporate Institutional Banking Leadership Team, partnering with Divisional Control Office, Group Risk and Internal Audit,
• Driving disciplined management of material risk issues, supporting escalations and remediation programs, and shaping a strong risk culture across Corporate Institutional Banking Technology.​
• Uplifting the quality, accuracy and timeliness of all CIO Corporate Institutional Banking risk and governance deliverables, including Executive Risk Committee and senior leadership papers.​

• Risk Management Expertise – Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, operational risk, technology risk, compliance obligations, and non‑financial risk governance.​
• Executive‑Level Communication – Exceptional written communication with the ability to produce concise, high‑quality, executive‑ready papers, decision packs, and risk insights.​
• Analytical & Critical Thinking – Ability to assess complex risk issues, synthesise data into insights, and challenge constructively.​
• Governance Uplift – Proven ability to embed and mature governance practices, controls, and oversight mechanisms.
