In the role of Senior Consultant, Governance you will join our CIO CIB Business Management & Transformation Team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond by:
- Owning and producing all CIO Corporate Institutional Banking submissions for Executive Risk Committee, SLT governance forums, and enterprise risk reviews.
- Ensuring papers are high‑quality, data‑driven, aligned to enterprise standards and delivered on schedule.
- Driving adoption of strong risk behaviours, governance discipline and transparency across CIO Corporate Institutional Banking.
- Acting as the trusted advisor to CIO Corporate Institutional Banking Leadership Team, partnering with Divisional Control Office, Group Risk and Internal Audit,
- Driving disciplined management of material risk issues, supporting escalations and remediation programs, and shaping a strong risk culture across Corporate Institutional Banking Technology.
- Uplifting the quality, accuracy and timeliness of all CIO Corporate Institutional Banking risk and governance deliverables, including Executive Risk Committee and senior leadership papers.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Risk Management Expertise – Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, operational risk, technology risk, compliance obligations, and non‑financial risk governance.
- Executive‑Level Communication – Exceptional written communication with the ability to produce concise, high‑quality, executive‑ready papers, decision packs, and risk insights.
- Analytical & Critical Thinking – Ability to assess complex risk issues, synthesise data into insights, and challenge constructively.
- Governance Uplift – Proven ability to embed and mature governance practices, controls, and oversight mechanisms.
